Your Card is Declined and What to Do Next

1. Why is my Visa card declining?

Answer: A card may be declined, including insufficient funds, a card that has expired, or additionally, it may decline a card due to a mismatch in the billing address or incorrect card details entered by the customer or maxed-out credit limit. 

How to check your billing address on your iphone

  • Open Settings
  • Tap on your Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases
  • Select Payment & Shipping
  • Review Your Billing Address

    2. Does a declined affect your credit score?

    Answer: It will not directly impact your credit scores.

    3. What happens when a purchase is declined?
    Answer: After time, the bank system will return the "pending" back to the account automatically. This process can take between 5-20 business days depending on the type of bank.
